Dude does not matter who faced. Him. They never knew what pace is 150, what pace is 140, or what pace is 130. They were all assumtions most times because of no speed guns. Regarding intimidation, any bowler bowling at 150 k on fast pitch will intimidate most batsmen without helmet. Johnson terrorized batsmen even with helmet and other accessories. Regarding Aaron, his strength is bowling fuller lengths because of his action and most indian pacers do not bowl good bouncers because they arent used to it because of low and slow Indian pitches and he isnt very shorter than thomson and Lilliee who both werent really tall. Good bouncers depend on action and execution.

There are a couple of guys in this forum who think that anybody who was known to be quick in the 70s and 80s could bowl 150 k + throughout the day and could touch 170 k or 180 k. So , I guess , sarcasm on this issue will be missed. :winky:

Must be talking about Irfan,Junaid or Gul.

Junaid and Gul isn't fast. May be Irfan is. Junaid hits mid 130s and occasional late 130s. Rarely does he hit 140-145+ in a spell. May be twice in a spell. Gul's pace has gone down in Test. The only bowlers who clocks 140+ consistently is Irfan. And its not really our concern if Pak is bowling fast or not. What matters is that our attack needs to amend their line and length and follow a strict discipline in Test cricket. We have been producing bowlers with good pace lately.

My concern is that all the new guys need to be managed well I fear if the workload on Shami is not reduced he will fade away so need someone who can manage these new guys well Dawes needs to go should hire T.A Sekhar
