TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 This is looking like something that's very possible. Right now, we're all criticizing Dhoni and his captaincy, now that India will be back in the subcontinent to play two big tournaments they'll do pretty well (may even win the Asia Cup) and suddenly people will have forgotten all about India's poor showing overseas and Dhoni is an amazing captain once again.
Cricket_Hacker Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 the general public will forget for sure
Switchblade Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Its a big if for me in these two tournaments as well flat wickets bowling will determine who wins both the tournaments. We are in catch 22 situation if we win still the overseas drubbing will hurt me if we lose then too it will hurt. But we have IPL after that so everything will be forgotten Sent from my Micromax A110 using Tapatalk
zep1706 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I hope we keep losing all tournaments as long as Dhoni is the test captain. Eventually they will have to get rid of captain cool.
StriKe Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Yeah most people in India, + IPL during the summer. and then it's going 0-5 in Eng and 0-5 in Aus. After two whitewash for us, Dhoni will still be our captain till WC15. We won't win WT20.
Ultimate_Game Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Unfortunately it's only a few die hard cricket fans who remember Test losses but most of the casual cricket fans and public in general don't care that much. I still can't forget the 0-8 hammering which has been forgotten by BCCI itself the way they extended Fletcher's contract. Aussies lost 0-4 to India and kicked out Mickey Arthur in the middle of a tour and here we may see Fletcher & Dawes cashing free checks forever :((
Temujin Khaghan Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 90% of the cricket watching indian public will... yes. whether 90% ICF will forget or not depends on whether we defeat Pakistan or not...
Sachin=GOD Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Most of the fans and all of the selectors/BCCI administrators will forget it.
Ultimate_Game Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 90% of the cricket watching indian public will... yes. whether 90% ICF will forget or not depends on whether we defeat Pakistan or not... ICFers won't. They haven't forgotten 0-8 despite winning Champions Trophy.
sscomp32 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 For the first time i won't. :(( I forgot 2007 ODI WC, 8-0 and may more pathetic defeats after a good series but not this time. the general public will forget for sure +1 I was talking to my friends about the Aus and Eng tour and one of them says "Wo sab chodo Asia cup aur T20 WC abhi jyaada jaruri hai. "
FischerTal Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Dhoni chamchas certainly will Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SLICKR392 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I'll forget it all, if we select a new Test captain.
gaurav92 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 We never forgot 8-0 even after CT win, so we will never forget this even if we win any tournament be it WC.
beetle Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 The only thing that can hurt Dhoni's position is if CSK comes last in IPL....or if the court bans this stupid Franchise. Let us all stop supporting Srini's team. Or like my husband says.....stop cribbing ....instead stop supporting Indian Cricket.:((
adi B Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Icf never forgets, maybe the fanboys..the public in general will forget if we win against pak in Asia cup.and wt20 but even they have given up on the team regarding the overseas matches.. 4 tours, eng, aus, saf, nzl ,total matches (baring t20s) 28 ,wins 1,losses 22!! This is worse than Bangladesh

alexander Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 90% of the cricket watching indian public will... yes. whether 90% ICF will forget or not depends on whether we defeat Pakistan or not... Beating Pak is a given. India is mentally very strong ,Pak is not. Thus under greatest pressure India wins.
