When Chappell was a coach, there were many players in the side with inflated egos who couldn't handle people who were honest with them. The present bunch are youngsters and they will work better with a senior coach.

Flower wants to spend more time with his family in England. He won't take up the BCCI job unless there's some extra ordinary financial motivation.

Flower is the other end of spectrum.He believes in too much power for coach which will not work in india.
