Some of his post match conferences showed how far he has evolved. I don't even care about his occasional outbursts. I am more interested in his onfield tactics. I rememher Gambhir giving a leg slip constantly for Ashwin against NZ . Other thing is how he rotates the bowlers. Does he have a fixed plans and go about it or tries to look for opportunity to get 5th bowler quota out of the way from the outset like Dhoni. All these things we will have to wait and see.

Kohli is a great player, seems like a natural leader, something new. If it was ishant as captain I would fully understand but still I support India for the players that keep me interested. I want india to succeed and with Kohli as captain I think they will do well.

Not sure why people think we won't win….we seem to be the bookies favourites and all for good reason.

People said the same about Dhoni when he became captain. Dhoni has done great things as captain - we can't forget the good just because the bad has been REALLY bad. And Dhoni was much better when he started. It was something new and it worked but now its stale. I'm not saying kohli will fix all but from his u19 wc days (see the low-scoring final), he has that 'never say die' attitude. He'll use his resources, he'll work up the opposition and try to win. He'll make things happen or try to - that's why I vouch for him. I am sick and tired of calm dhoni being expressionless and waiting for world class batsmen to make mistakes. Kohli: Won u19 wc, leads from the front with his runs as he has scored tons everywhere. Great/important knocks in wc 2011 final, champions trophy final, that hobart sri lanka game. 5-0 Zimbabwe, still had to be done and he did it with a different indian team, different bowlers.
