You are asking wrong question. Correct question is how far are West Indies to reach Bangladesh level?

who is at power right now? for the second time in a row? and why are you bringing up politics..i've said this before and i'll say it again...jammat never had' date=' nor do they, and they never will be accepted in Bangladesh...they can just recruit some men to cause violence and thats about it.[/quote'] But it was not an election, there was only one party. :cantstop: I was just kidding man, I have met Bangladeshis in real life to know that most of them aren't very fond of JI.

Give up cricket and concentrate on football.
u dont wanna get me started on our football...our football goverment is trying to give bangladeshi citizenship to a nigerian guy so that he can play for our national team....theres nothing positive in this country but cricket.

Stop making it political. There are other sections for that. I have heard this a numerous time that BD's domestic system is by far the worst. Start from there and this Mominul kid is a good bat, you need more Test players like him. Some A tours should do real good for these young players. And losing against Afghan should not be considered as a very low point. They almost had Pakistan if catches weren't dropped and we could have lost the T20 against them for the same reason- drop catches.

yah i get you slicky ...we"re not australia or india that we cant loose against afghanistan..we can but take a look at how these players approached the game...after playing cricket for 15 years, no way in hell are you suppose to make these schhol boy mistakes. Now this match goes to show what the trio of shakib tamim and mashrafe means to us. And you bring up the pakistan game, ok look how umar took guard and sealed pakistan to a good total. why cant we do that? should all the blame go to our domestics or is there other things? I know the domestics is where u learn to play but, hey...look at us..we didnt learn jack shyte.

I saw the few final overs. Your team didn't look it was a class above the opposition. So, therein lies the problem. Answers: 1. Very strong U-17 and U-19 structure is needed with strong coaches who can fix technical flaws by 14-15 years of age. 2. U-19 teams need to visit the top 3 or 4 countries regularly. 3. A little investment in sports psychology won't hurt. To be giant killers, your team needs to think they can be that and not fold up like sissies under a little pressure. If the board doesn't have $$$ or conviction for #1 and #2, you should start tempering your hopes or pick another sport to follow. Nothing wrong in that. Sport is just that, sport.

india lost to bangladesh and pakistan lost to ireland in a worldcup match and both of these countries had around 50-60 years of experience playing cricket. This is not the end yes they lost to a minnow team but they can bounce back strongly. Also bangladesh is not playing shakib and tamim iqbal two of their best players. This loss may help them play well in the world cup. india lost to bangladesh in 2007 worldcup and won the worldcup in 2011.

I actually want to congratulate ur board for taking the right steps against sakib.. Board punished him even though Asia Cup was around the corner.. Gutsy move!!! If it was BCCI or pcb, they Wud have overlooked the incident.. Sakib is a Big player so gave out the right message.. Means ur fundamentals are in place.. Just need right coach who understands ur players n culture better..

Will not go anywhere. You have a bunch of cocky, arrogant players who think that beating WI at home suggests that you have arrived. Horrible domestic structure and corrupt board. Bunch of show ponies in the team. Also, Bangladesh has lost to a superior team. The Afghans should have easily beaten Pakistan too and it's a shame that they lost that game.
