Well we all have different levels of support and obsession. I will admit. I am fanatical about indian team and wanting to win. Maybe too desperate for them to win and be the best. Others may have a much more healthy perspective on things:--D
such a sensible post from you....are you all right :--D

Yaar like it or not Kohli is on a different level from the others in ODI's. He has already achieved the same status as a Dhoni or ABDV among the current players.
No one's debating that. Kohlii might as well surpass Sachin as an ODI player, but that does not mean that Pujara cannot be an achiever here. See how well Amla is doing in ODIs. Bottling up Pujara and using him as a waterboy is really shameful.

Kohli played 5 genuine bowlers in a must win game and almost won the game defending just 245. Dhoni played a must win test match with 3 bowlers. That shows you the difference between the mentality of both the captains.

His batting would ve added atleast 20 more runs in both the matches. Not blaming Kohli' date=' he is stuck with a terrible keeper and literally no finishers.[/quote'] his captaincy would also have added 40 runs to the opposition's total :nice:

People are making up things they want without any proof just to make their point. There is no difference in team selection between dhobi and Kohli, no big picture thinking on either one's part. All I saw is dhobi 2.0 in Kohli but more unlucky 2.0.
It's not being unlucky

what do u think bowling Jogi in world t20 finals was genius move or lucky move. Any time Indian team (does not matter who the captain) is defending a total they to be lucky to win because bowlers are just not good enough. We can assess kohli better overseas as in these conditions Dhobi is both good and lucky.

Playing Jadeja on that green pitch was like playing a bowler short. Luckily for India NZ were bowled out under 60 overs on the first day. Had they managed to form a decent partnership and crossed that 60 over mark (~20 overs each for the first bowlers) with 3-4 wickets in hand they would have at least batted out the whole first day. This is not an observation in hindsight. Called it on the first morning itself, talking about the second test in NZ.

If a captain is calm and not jumping all over, there's a good chance that it helps the bowler think better ,replicating success once could be considered lucky;doing it multiple times not so much
