So , I never understand why so many Indians underestimate Afridi. He is much better ODI and T20 bowler than Ashwin and his batting is added bonus for Pak team

Afridi has and always will be a pretty useless player. He is keeping out younger and better spinners and from what we have seen for over 15 years, with the bat he is a total and utter clown. Those last 2 shots, may have won Pakistan the game today, but on another day he could quite easily have hit them straight up in the air. A smarter bowler would have picked his wicket easily. I don't rate many modern batsmen, most are shyte who flourish on flat track vs garbage bowling attacks like the Indian and Bangladesh attack, but in terms of mediocrity, Afridi is right up there with the likes of Pollard and Luke Wright, the difference being. those guys won't be given such leniency for so many years. Until Afridi is kicked out permanently, Pakistan WILL NOT win anything meaningful. T20 is not meaningful cricket, it's hit and laugh.

he is a match winner....may not be an automatic choice in the Pakistan team but against India he is a first choice player. I admire what he did today. single handedly took on the Indian team in the last 6 overs. Put Bhuvi / Ashwin / Jadeja ..everyone to embarrassment...on his own

Afridi performs once in 25 games, and this was a game made for him. The situation demanded boom boom batting and that is exactly what he did. Not that he does anything different, but this time, he got away with it as it was the need of the hour and it pulled off :P

Get a 145+ bowler and make him bowl at Afretard, guarantee that he will get him out within 10 balls. However Indians don't want genuine fast bowlers in the side.
