Yes definitely Sachin is no Afridi. But in ODIs longer innings give more impact. In T20s, strike rates win or lose you matches

Many people are not aware but Dhoni is one of the worst T20 International players ever who applies the Odi approach in the T20 format and thus has cost India matches on many occasions.

I can do this whole night since Dhoni's entire T20 International career pretty much consists of playing match losing knocks for India. He is the primary reason why India has not won a single 2nd round match in the last three T20 World Cups and history will be repeated once again in the upcoming tournament.

i remember this match very well.the mind boggling thing is that yuvi came at 36-2,smacked a 50 and got out when the score was 92 .tat means he scored 50 of the 56 runs during his stay at the crease :yikes:

I cursed him a lot that day India had a chance to put the hoodoo of never having beat NZ in a t20 to bed that day. India lost from a an incredibly strong position. We just need to accept MSD is not a good T20 player. Having looked at DK keep, I will take MSD over him anyday. But MSD remains the best in a bunch of bad keepers for India in the t20 format.

He just doesnt want to hit them big unless its the last over of the innings, where he fails more often than not as far as T20s are concerned. It always somebody at the other end be it Raina or UV or Yusuf who must go after the bowling and Captain Cool would just deal in dots and singles till the better partner at the other end has been dismissed due to being burdened for taking extra risks. Even in the last T20 against Australia, it was Yuvraj who was hitting them big all over the park while Dhobi was tuk tuking and trying his level best to lose the game.
