rkt.india Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 >130? And a thread  One wicket ! in total 4 wickets actually.
ThePhenomenal1 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 should be given an odi run, deserves it. india need to manage their pacers, lets hop he hasnt lost pace.
undisputed chap Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 Lol why would this be a sarcastic thread. He is a veteran for mumbai ranji team. Has won them matches on his own. Was in contention for a india spot before being injured. Now he has made a brilliant comeback to the domestics. He may not the flashiest of guys going aroundlike a rishi dhawan or whatever but h as been an important part of mumbai domestic circuit.
ThePhenomenal1 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 he deserves an england call up. im sure he would be good there. shami can't play every game. need to rotate our bowlers, so you could have bhuvi, aaron and kulkarni or bhuvi, pandey, kulkarni as an option
gakgupta Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 from what i have seen.....this guy has improved from a very mediocore trundler to a decent bowler......his line and length is immaculate........
undisputed chap Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 He has immaculate control over line & length.Needs more matches to prove his fitness though. What a bad time to get injured just when you get a national call up you get injured & that opportunity goes to someone else otherwise i would have him ahead of zak in nz & eng.
ThePhenomenal1 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 we should play him when he's taken 4 wickets, the guy was in the wi squad but got unlucky. He should be on overseas tours. Him, bhuvi, shami, aaron, yadav, pandey - gives me hope!
velu Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 undisputed chap - kulkarni DTW - sreesanth skindia - uthappa maniac - nohit MTC - sachin :P
cowboysfan Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 he was in the squad before the injury,i dont see see anybody else on the horizon.he will play in england and we do need a good line and length bowler.
shortbread Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 He simply joins a long line of trundlers in the domestic circuit. There's one sitting in the present team without sending a single delivery in a match, there's Pankaj Singh, the Karnataka trundling brigade etc...etc..... I know the marathi manoos loves him, but Kulkarni looks brittle and injury prone!! Maybe hes done well in the game, but there's nothing exceptional in the display to call him up into the national side.
saneindian Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Would have played for India had he not been injured this season. Needs a good IPL and will be on the plane to England. Deservingly so
undisputed chap Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 Not sure about him being picked for eng tour though. It would be great if he could have more matches under his belt. Domestic t20 & ipl are not really an ideal preparation for a long tour especially when your coming back from a injury layoff.

Domestic t20 & ipl are not really an ideal preparation for a long tour especially when your coming back from a injury layoff. he's taken wickets in fc cricket and now done good in domestic games and ipl. why wait any longer? if he's taking wickets, has pace and control then send him. cant be worse than an aging zak and ishant or v kumar
undisputed chap Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 Ok dude now ur starting to scare me. I m not on the selection panel i was just saying what the selectors might be thinking. :nervous:
maniac Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 ^ I am assuming you are the same guy who used to post with a different username, weren't you all upset when I said Vinay Kumar looked brilliant the way he was moving the ball at a similar speed....infact he was bowling at better domestic batsmen too. Also his recors this year speaks for itself Sorry but 130 will not cut it unless you are an exceptional talent.
