The way he makes the chase look so easy, takes away all the fun, excitement. So boring, too much class. This format is not for classy cricketers, what's Kohli doing there. Leave this to tulley baazs.

I am starting to believe he is in these situations ..never seen any batsman so dominant for so long in all formats specially finishing games it's unfair on sachin as he opened but this guy is like ponting who can even play spin :cantstop:

He's brilliant when it comes to chasing and way ahead of Sachin already. Hope he flips Sachin in the other department as well and voila we'll get to see another ATG in this era!

He is not bad in other parts just very very good under pressure of chase People should be happy as most people tend to bat better without pressure and this balances it out

Yeah I know. There are perceptions which stick around certain players and that's what has happened here. I think now India is the sort of the team which looks to chase and Kohli has simply mastered that. I am sure in a few years time, when Kohli'll have a better 1st inning record, then no one would talk about it.

Champion innings, champion player! :hatsoff: Showed such maturity in that knock. Any great would have succumbed to the pressure and played a rash shot. He sneaked singles, hit boundaries and smocked sixes when it was required. 3 dot balls of the 44 deliveries he faced shows how good he was. Damn ****ing good!!

In simple words he is already one of the all-time great loi batters in his relatively short career (around 18 hundreds with most of them in winning causes plus an amazing s/r).... the only loi batters that i have seen/read about that come even close to his ability to dictate an innings and dominate are Viv Richards and M Bevan.... and he is a better combined package with his ability to dictate terms but also finish chases off. Him and dhobi are the 2 loi batters that have led the charge for us to the point that no one misses guyz like sachin and sehwag in our loi sides and that is saying something about their abilities with the bat.

yea explaining how it was done is 100 times easier than executing it :cantstop: . Just say the same thing to Rohit and ask him to repeat. 9 out of 10 times he would fail.

This knock of Kohli will redefine what t20 batting will be in future, just 3 dots and so many singles and twos not many boundaries. Greatness of this knock unlike yuvraj,s knocks in 2007 (even though great they are so hard to replicate) is Kohli can replicate many times and that is the genius of this knock, he has replicated this very knock over and over in odis ,
