Cricketics Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 They have decided to telecast it live on ESPN2, THE TV CHANNEL. This is brilliant. First time an ICC event will be shown live on a tv channel. Great to see that it's not just being left to ESPN3, but also now ESPN2 will be showing the coverage. I think this is a big news for people in USA.

The game was live on espn3, which is espn online streaming website. Now they have two big tv channels, and they are trying to promote it to American public so they have decided to telecast it on the their TV channel which shows American football, baseball, and sportscenter. So it's good to have it on the actually American tv channel.

This will probably be the first time in History that a major network would be showing cricket. Now I can watch it on TV :two_thumbs_up:

That's just an example of how T20 cricket could help spread the game. If this was the 50-over World Cup, no way would any major television network in the US give 7-8 hours of airtime for cricket.

Hotels usually have a local tv package with regular channels like abc etc and it should have espn2. Espn and espn2 are channels which are watched a lot.
