renjith Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Does anyone still think that India can win a test during this tour with this bowling line up?? yes... we can win 1 or 2 tests even though we may not win the series. lets not judge this team based on 2011 performance. that was a very rare situation. how often you find your main strike bowler pulling out from the series in the first session? in 2011 our batting lineup was full of over aged batsmen who did not have any sort of reflexes in countering fast bowling. 2011 bowling was probably one of the worst test bowling attacks we ever had. praveen kumar, rp singh (second half of his career), srishant are club level bowlers. things are different this time around. we have a young batting and bowling line up. also lets not forget anderson and board are not macgrath and gillespie. they are just above average bowlers. if stokes does not get fit by july first week, their 3rd and 4th bowlers are going to be even average quality. and half of batting order will only be debuting against sl.

Srilankan team doesn't even have a clue ,what they are doing (though their record in England is always Dismal ).Ominous signs for Indian team ,who is about start their tour of England next month . Maybe a Sign like Previous tour that India is about to get trashed in England ... !

Would attack England with pace, 2 x 90mph bowlers and another who is 85 to 90. Spinner does holding job But of course dhobi will go for trundlers and gay lover ishant

Mooli Dhawan Pujara Kohli Rahane Ashwin Bhuvi Dhoni Shami Aaron Pankaj For test oval,we can play an extra batsman and drop a pacer.its a 5 test series so playing only 3 pacers every match will put extra workload on the bowlers,very difficult to pick 10 wkts

Been following this Eng Sri lanka match and the English team is being given a very tough fight by a weak Sri lankan team. There are several no-name unproven players in the English team. Definitely one of the weakest English team we have faced in a while and will so. Best chance to beat them right now if we can sort out our pace attack
