ThePhenomenal1
Why stop at batting? Make him captain too whats up with you lol Link to comment
Vilander
Shami got 50 as well. He should be our all rounder I know you are trolling, but answering that. Bhuv shielded him very well ( better than Binny) for almost first 20 - 25 minutes. Bhuv batted very sensibly, he left a lot of deliveries. Link to comment
Vilander
Definitely pathetic pitch, poor umpiring ( Vijay,Prior and Kohli got howlers) , poor captaincy from Dhoni and Cook, very poor overall. Probably pitch made the teams look worse that they actually are. Next test will tell. Link to comment
Mark
Very frustrating that DRS is still not available but both sides were on the end of bad decisions. Didn't make a difference to the result. Link to comment
ThePhenomenal1
Shami got 50 as well. He should be our all rounder i never said bhuvi should be an allrounder. just said that he can be at 8 and do a good job. just bat like this. and shami can hang in there thanks to bhuvi's help and shami's show of guts. only need 1-2 allrounders, a great boost if bhuvi is at 8 and our tail can wag. Could play 4 seamers without the batting suffering. Tbh our top 7 need to bat Link to comment

Welcome to ICF, you watch rugby( union ?) too i see. Is England good in it, guess NZ and SA are pretty good. Link to comment
Vilander
England let our 10-11 to score 50+ each we out did them and let 11 score 81. Both have part timers in the name of bowlers. Neither team deserves to win this test. If it were upto me i wouldnt have recorded this game as a draw i would void this test, no record that such a crappy test ever happened. corrected..England are as pathetic as us really..lol. But credit to them they cameback well to put india underpressure only for India to make an other comeback to save the test.. Link to comment

DRS is not yet ready .. i can sense goal line technology will be accepted b4 BCCI agreeing for DRS Link to comment
mancalledsting
He's got the perfect temperament for tests- he seems to have sorted out his front foot offside issue- if he continues like this hell definitely average 45+ overseas Link to comment
ThePhenomenal1
Notice how he scored 12 off the FIRST OVER where anyone else would be tentative and just let it be a maiden. He put the pressure immediately on England and low and behold, cries about the pitch. Very good opener. This should be the transition where he becomes more reliable. Link to comment
SLICKR392
Chappel. Lol http://www.espncricinfo.com/england-v-india-2014/content/video_audio/760189.html Link to comment
ThePhenomenal1
Good start, considering we were in a good position to win. Again, bad captaincy and lack of a potent spinner squandered that but adding ashwin for jadeja and dropping binny for pankaj should boost the side. Credit to binny but he will get his time. Need a win first and foremost Link to comment
MCcricket
dHONI'S BIGGEST PROBLEM IS IDENTIFYING THE BEST COMBINATION AND TEAM, HOPE HE MAKES CORRECT CHANGE IN NEXT MATCH, wE NEED PANKAJ, AARON, ASHWIN IN. Link to comment
undisputed chap
Dhoni's so meek that it's a wonder dhoni didn't call back prior when he would have seen the replay on the big screen Link to comment
AmreekanDesi
Why do these goras always think that our teams and captain need to be meek and submissive??? They cannot see India in any other role than one in which we kiss their ass. Thats why I always support BCCI sticking it upto them and making them feel like **** and dependent on us If Clarke did the same thing, he would have been praising him for his aggressive approach Link to comment
Straight Drive
Not really as effective as Monty. Debuted versus Aussies and rampant Warner took him out of the bowling attack. India should look to do the same, the way we approached Moeen Ali's bowling in first innings scoring 4+ off his overs. Link to comment
G_B_
hmm so who does he replace? Stokes? Link to comment
Chaos
:(( I mean let us say Eng gets a marginal lead or even close to our 1st innings total....A 2nd innings collapse is not totally out of the equation for us.....and I expect England to knock those runs off relatively easily or come up trumps in a thriller. dhoni is like stock market, we all think its gonna go up and they do the opposite and bring the price down. When we expect a win, dhoni denys all the odds and hands us a defeat. He puts wall street to damn shame Link to comment
