Someone in the rally said if you rearranged "NARENDRA MODI" you get "RARE DIAMOND".Goodone:nice:
If you re-arrange the letters in "Narendra Modi", you get A Modern Drain Quite apt, considering his innovative and altogether necessary Swachh Bharat campaign.

Some news for the day (1) Looks like the BJP will look to dump the SAD in punjab for campaigning for INLD in Haryana. (2) They are looking to expand in TN by inducting Rajnikanth's wife Lata (3) Delhi BJP likely to form government depending on outcome in Haryana and Maharashtra. Looking from defections from AAP. However if the BJP form governments on their own in Maha and Haryana they will trigger a new assembly election.

Snoopgate probe comes to an end, Gujarat HC scraps panel on family's request ,, But in this case, the information was gathered from various media and though there was no complainant, the inquiry was set up without thinking that it is a personal and private matter and not of the public importance or national importance. He urged the court to trash the inquiry being violative of Soni's fundamental right to privacy. The HC asked the state government, which did not dispute the facts of the case. When there was no objection found from the side of the government, Justice Upadhyay quashed the order for setting up of the inquiry into the case. Before this, two PIL were filed questioning the scope and reference of this inquiry commission on the ground that the government should order inquiry into interception of all mobile calls, and not only in this 2009 incident.

Wow!! good going congress party. Anyways there were very few sane voices left in the party. Non Zaahils.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has been dropped as party spokesperson on the charge that he has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi once too often. Sonia Gandhi has reportedly agreed with those in the Congress who allege that Mr Tharoor has embarrassed and hurt the party with his "unnecessary adulation of PM Modi" in columns on ndtv.com and other sites. "As a loyal worker of the Congress, I accept the decision of the party president," said Shashi Tharoor, who chairs the parliamentary panel on external affairs. Kerala Congress leaders had alleged that there were repeated instances of the 58-year-old MP being seen as appreciative of the Prime Minister. The two-time MP from Thiruvananthapuram incensed his party by saying he was "honoured" to be among nine prominent Indians tagged by the Prime Minister when he launched his five-year Clean India campaign on Mahatma Gandhi's October 2 birth anniversary. In his column on ndtv.com, Mr Tharoor wrote, "Which Indian worthy of the name would not be humbled to be tapped by his PM for a national cause?" The former union minister also wrote that Mr Modi "had been effective in using his Prime Ministerial position" to drive change from the top. A Congress publication in Kerala tore into Mr Tharoor for writing "love songs" for PM Modi and compared him to "Siberian migratory birds who come looking for optimum climate." The action against Mr Tharoor comes at a time questions connected to the death of his wife Sunanda Pushkar at her hotel room in January have resurfaced. The Delhi Police are yet to pinpoint how she died; a team of doctors from AIIMS has said the 52-year-old died of poisoning, and not from an overdose of Alprax anti-depressant pills as another report had claimed. Congress spokesperson Shobha Oza said, "Tharoor's statements were not received well by the (Kerala Congress). This has nothing to do with Sunanda Pushkar's case." Criticising the action against Mr Tharoor, the BJP's Siddharth Nath Singh said, "If a PM does good work praise should be accepted as natural but the Congress has not learnt any lesson."

Civic Poll Ushers in Battle for Hyderabad KCR.JPGhttp://www.newindianexpress.com/thesundaystandard/Civic-Poll-Ushers-in-Battle-for-Hyderabad/2014/10/05/article2461907.ece While the focus is on Maharashtra and Haryana, a key battle is unfolding in Hyderabad. If the TDP and BJP combine win then IMO they will stop the MIM in their tracks. I did read that Shah has decided to show mercy to Jagan in his court cases in return for him not contesting these elections. Its probably going to be MIM-TRS v BJP-TDP I do believe it takes place in November.....

Jagan is non entity in telangana.

he is but he can command 5-6% in Hyderabad. When TRS-MIM and TDP-BJP go head to head, every vote counts..... I think its pretty clear that the BJP wants to emerge as a king maker on its own merit and strength in Telangana and Seemaandhra in the coming future. In Telgangana the MIM is trying to fullfill the same role. Become a kingmaker in its own right by winning 10-12 seats (primarily in Hyderabad and high muslim constituencies) and form government with Congress and KCR who depend on rural votes as per the new realities. In the next 10 years or so, the BJP will want to emerge as a kingmaker who can command 10-15 seats in the assemblies and urban areas of Telangana and Seemandhra.

if the bookies are correct for Haryana the BJP have fluffed their lines in the state nothing stopping the congress from offering unconditional support to the INLD to keep the bjp out.

Lets wait for the results. Defections might happen is BJP reach 40. Haryana is known for entire party mlas defecting But I feel they concentrated a bit too much on attacking the congress an opponent who was already out. Did not realise the INLD was slowly building momentum. They should have named captain Abhimanyu from the start. In combo with Modi it would have given them the majority.

Congis have their back up against the wall. Either they hope of Namo stumbling on his own. Or more likely, having BJP leaders who are as antagonistic towards the Mafia as Namo/Shah are means CONgis have no choice but to start playing dirty. So the BJP leadership will have to be super careful now. And Namo has to drop his habit of breaking the security cordon as he so often does to mingle with the commoners (latest example: NY).

To think about it, 15 months ago, various pundits and opponents called Advani as the much better fit for PM candidate of BJP. That would have been some comedy. BJP thankfully had some democracy and took the decision based demand of grassroots workers. Congress lacks such structure, their workers has no say in decisions and it's hard to see how they can improve. Their leadership needs a new name and a family oriented party won't digest that. They are far too greedy.

So we move on the Jharkhand and J and k In J and K BJP should do well in Jammu. I feel they will be part of the government with either of 2 kashmir parties In Jharkhand that is where the real test is. It will be the biggest test of the Modi wave. JMM Jd(u) Congress and RJD have combined. Together these combo has the capability of getting 40-50% of the vote. As i like to remind the supporters of the BJP, the BJP is not winning states with 50% of the vote. There will exist combinations to topple them. Be they maharashtra or be they haryana (INLD +congress)
