The conditions in IPL are designed for slogging and hitting fours, sixes and lots of easy runs. The bowlers are basically cannon fodder in this tournament. Maxwell didnt do well in two games and both times he had genuine pace to contend with. Morne Morkel stifled him with fast bouncers and then he played a silly shot. Same against RCB when he was attacked with bouncer and je top edges a bouncer from Aaron. CSK doesnt have that pace to attack him.
