TNAmarkFrmIndia
Changes you would make to the playing XI for the 3rd ODI against Bangladesh? What changes would you make to the playing XI for the last ODI against Bangladesh? The only players from the squad who haven't played a game in the series yet are Manoj Tiwary, Kedar Jadhav and Vinay Kumar. It is only fair that every one of them at least get a game in this series, especially since the series is already in the bag. These would be my changes to the playing XI: · Manoj Tiwary in place of Cheteshwar Pujara · Kedar Jadhav in place of Ambati Rayudu · Vinay Kumar in place of Mohit Sharma Link to comment
BlueBee
Jadhav in for Rayudu. Pujara deserves more chances IMO. Link to comment

I do not think Jadhav is better than Tiwary. He is just a good striker, technique wise as good as Rayudu or Tiwary. Link to comment

He is just a good striker' date=' technique wise as good as Rayudu or Tiwary.[/quote'] It's not that he's great. It's that he should've gotten a chance to play when: a) He had a superlative Ranji Trophy season, not just scoring the most runs in the tournament but also scoring them at an ODI strike rate, b) His List A record is possibly one of the best in domestic Indian cricket right now and c) The likes of Pujara and Rayudu are doing jackshit in this series. For all we know, Jadhav would've failed liked the rest of them, but he at least deserved a chance to play. It's not like Rayudu is setting the world on fire with the way he's batting. Link to comment
Nash
Cricinfo : Bangladesh for obvious reasons, but they've discovered an exciting fast-bowling talent in Taskin Ahmed. India would have wanted their second string to get a proper opportunity to show their ODI mettle. They got one reduced target, and two low-scoring games (one incomplete) on a highly atypical ODI pitch. There's no way you can judge a player's true potential by watching him bat or bowl on that. what a conflicting statements in one para. Link to comment
