So if one wants to kill congress forever, it's not too bad to support a party that will kill it(at least in Delhi , maybe in Punjab n elsewhere) If you want to kill Congress forever, start by its alliances or associates. And that includes AAP. They had already previously lied and even today, they are more than happy to side with Congress. So if you do want Congress gone, you surely shouldn't be voting for AAP.

Congress and BJP are very big parties, they never make any planning on the basis of their alliances and those alliances really do not matter to them in long run. If you consider the political thinking of common Indians, they can be divided into four parts: 1. Pure Leftist thinking 2. Liberal and flexible in thinking but slightly linient towards Left ideology 3. Liberal and flexible in thinking but slightly linient towards Right ideology 4. Pure Right Wing thinking. Out of the above 1 are the people who vote for Communist or any party who shows themselves as pro-poor, pro-suppresed like Mamta. Number 2 are the people who majorly vote for Congress(not all of them are Gandhi Family supporters but they dislike any kind of Right Wing approach or ideology). Number 3 are the Modi/BJP supporters, I will call them Modi supporters mainly who are much fascinated by the personalities and aggressive attitude. Number 4 are people for whom caste, religion, region matters too much they vote for DMK, SP, RJD, BJP etc. they will not vote for COngress. Its no brainer that number 2 and number 3 category are the maximum voters overall. AAP is targeting people in category 1 and 2. These are the voters who would never vote for BJP anyways. If it is able to penetrate more in the number 2 section which might not be very happy with Rahul Gandhi and his leadership they can cut the vote for COngress. So in the long run, the more AAP gains ground the more loss it will be of COngress.

This is a AAP party which had cheated the public in 2013 by taking support from Congress and is now having a tacit understanding with Congress for 2015 elections. You can't respect such party. They are no different from SP or BSP in many sense.They say something but will always do something else behind. Even this time, they will shamefully take support again from Congress. Seriously, the more AAP gains, the loss for Congress will be reduced. This proxy relationship or unholy alliance is very dangerous as Congress gets the benefits. Anybody who is now completely against Congress should never vote for AAP, BSP, SP, RJD, JDU. And about vote-banks, AAP knows that together with MIM and tactically voting of M community, the for sure votes has increased compared with LS elections. Now, they are targeting to win back those who voted for AAP in 2013 but BJP in LS 2014. It's the BJP voters which are their target.

I responded in a similar vein to your post that you responded to mine, slightly better in fact where you picked one sentence to base your reply upon. I agree with you. Totally. The population of Muslims is not going to overtake at any moment in the coming years. I think you misunderstood my point. The Muslim population is going to stabilize at around 18-20% forever around 100 years from now given there are no catastrophic events. But you missed the complete point. The reason for partition of India was that few portions pre-independece had muslim dominated populations and they did not wanted to live with India as they were uncomfortable being in the country which they ruled but now will be governed through democracy and most likely by Hindus. This is the same reason why one of the state in Northern PArt of India is asking Independece. Their logic is same, since we are mostly Muslim give us freedom. Infact during the election campaign recently the PDP and NC leaders repeated that vote for us or else a Hindu will become CM. (Now by the logic of Secular and Communal, those guys should have been labelled communal but that is not the case, they are secular atleast in India because the only condition of being called Secular is being Pro-Muslim.) If this has been the case in recent history which has made a population of Majority Community to be fearful. You can call them fearful to the extent of being cynical but they are not communal, they have no problem even if BJP makes Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi or Najma Heptullah the PM of this country. All of this has nothing to do with the one area we were discussing about. Let's have separate chains of discussion, rather than muddling it up.

Do you have any figures on age group wise ratio of population? Like Muslims percentage in 0-20, 21-40, >40 age group. Among 0-20, I would say the population is already >20%. With TV Internet n literacy penetration , the tfr has plummeted. Hindu tfr specially. Hindu fertility rate would be much lower than 2.6 in 2014-15. Probably will be arnd 2.1 n declining

Christians have by far the best sex ratio in India. By your logic, can you care to explain why the proportion of Christian population in India has remained stable, but Muslim population increased?

To start with, the government has identified 504 essential medicines, which include antibiotics, painkillers, vitamins and medicines used in treatment of cardiovascular, respiratory, diabetes and gastroenterology diseases. "In the first phase, we have mostly identified medicines from the top 100 drugs based on their sales. Providing basic, quality education and healthcare, by placing the least amount of burden on the population. Necessary investments on the human resources of a country. So I'm all for this. Requires very strict quality control.. else it may become an albatross around the govts neck Oh, the govt. better not drop the ball on this. Especially after the sterilization fiasco that took place in MP.
