If IPL performances should be considered for selection then Viru must be our opener, Gambo must be our skipper and Kohli should be dropped :giggle: It dosen't work that way. Mishra is the best leg spinner in India and should only be dropped if he fails to perform in International cricket.

NareshK Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Looks like he needs a pitch with a lot of assistance to make an impact. Even in IPL, he has only done well mostly on slow, sluggish pitches. Leggies like Karan Sharma, Chahal, Tambe have done well even on patta wickets. But Mishra deserves more chances after his exploits in World T20 and he is our best leggie on paper. He should get better as he plays more in unhelpful conditions too.
