Maratha Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 He did pretty well against us in India. Since, he is out of English team, would it benefit Indian team a lot or it has very little effect? Discuss. P.s- My first thread..
Straight Drive Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 iirc he scored 187 at Mumbai against us last year. It's good at least psychologically (for our bowlers) to not bowl to him again , especially in conditions he knows much better.
BeautifulGame Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Ideally it should. But doubt we have the bowlers to take advantage of it.
SLICKR392 Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Scored a double at Lord's last time and a ton along with it. Back home (India): A quick 180 and a sluggish 100. So, yeah.

Vilander Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Definitely..but cook and prior will come to roaring form against bhuv and ishant.
Laaloo Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Definitely..but cook and prior will come to roaring form against bhuv and ishant. oh dont worry we have the chuski legend ashwini to get em out :csk:
Sonix768 Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 His exclusion is already hurting England. Against its going get worse (I hope).
cowboysfan Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 what happened to the mental case and the quitter Trott? will he play against us.
singhprakash72 Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 The question that Team India has is not- with or without KP rather its ability to score runs excess of 300 and take 20 wkts economically. Recent records suggest even if big players are missing or out of form, it didn't matter cos our pathetic bowling attack combined with indecisive captaincy has always brought opposition to top.
Lord Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 what happened to the mental case and the quitter Trott? will he play against us. no
undisputed chap Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 I tweeted him requesting him to be batting coach for india for England tour. Sadly no reply.

Captain India Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 English batting has dipped after the exclusion of KP. Ian bell, cook and Matt prior will be our headaches in this series.
