My team: Dhawan, vijay, pujara, kohli, GG, rahane, saha, jadeja, shami, bhuvi, pandey Saha more than capable, solid top 6, jadeja as spinner. Can always go with 4 pacers if you want and drop jadeja for 1st test but optional.

I also know how to check cricinfo :--D But that is not the point. The difference between Domestic cricket and test cricket are like grand canyons. Players like MSD are made for International cricket.

And Eng returned us the favor for 2007 by beating us 2-1 in 2012 other years its 3-1 kind of margin for Ind in Ind. The 4-0 in Eng was a disaster yes. Overall Eng have beaten us more in Eng than we have beaten them in India.

This can turnout to be a disastrous tour or a decent one,nothing in between

Hope our young players use this opportunity to become battle hardened. It is somewhat gruelling.

We had good tour in 2002 (including the win in Natwest series) and in 2007 we were victorious. Its only 2011 which was a blemish in our record in England. In terms of toughness India always struggles in Aust, SA and NZ

For eg. Dravid's odi avg is 39 vs dhoni 50+ so dhoni is better then Dravid in tests? Im not comparing dravid in& saha ofcourse

Duh, obviously Dhoni is a better ODI bat than Saha, he is an ODI ATG. My point was Dhoni hasn't really performed that well in Tests to keep out a good wicket keeper batsman like Saha. Just because a player is good in one format in international cricket, it doesn't mean that he would automatically be good in all other formats. Same is the case with Raina, he's a good ODI bat but not cut out for tests.
