IMO Ashwin should play instead of jaddu/binny. He was dropped after one poor test which is not fair. England has 6 lefties ( including stokes ) and having an off spinner makes sense He is a much better batsman than jaddu/binny. But it seems highly unlikely. He didnt bowl much in the practice matches and did not even bat once.

Jaddu will be high in the pecking order followed by Ashwin. Just an educated guess. Wonder if his 6 for 4 against Bangla boys will have any influence.

This in my opinion is the best bowling line up. The wicket is indeed dry.

' date='the object of playing 5 bowlers is to ensure we try to get 20 wickets.[/quote'] this does not happen in the real world...it is in the imagination and fantasies of observers who fail to take proper notes and observations from decades of past cricketing action. a 5th bowler can logically raise the effectiveness of an attack only he is 2X times superior to the rest. but you can say the same even if he replaces one of the four A half baked dibbly dobbly bowler who is not even as good as the other 4 is supposed to raise the standard and make our attack penetrative.:hysterical: the feeling that 5 bowlers can take you 20 wickets is itself highly irrational and baseless.it ignores the all important factor of whether they can knock down batsmen.

I was trying to be funny with him...remember arsol thread ? I do not want Binny anywhere near team and want proper bowler like pankaj or pandey to come in

Wasn't Vaughan the one who called the SL bowlers a glorified county unit and then sounded like a clueless ape in the commentary box. He's as bad as the Indian commentary line up!!
