Cricbuzz is very slow in updating the scores.
NZ is now 75/8...3 wkt each for Kuldeep and Shardul, 1 for Kuldeep Yadav.

Loving kuldeep. Hopefully selectors take notice. They should give these players a lot more game time before discarding them

Umran's ER has been a decent 4.33 so far in his first 3 overs.

Umran can learn things quickly, he just need to be in and around that environment where he will be motivated to improve constantly.

Right now he tries a lot of random stuff due to his inexperience, but with some guidance from Shami (who's similar to him in height) and Bumrah he will be better.

Looks like NZ A got blown away here.

Now we have ODI series vs South Africa coming. Since our T20 team will be travelling to Aus that time, hopefully Kuldeep and Umran will feature in a few games there.

If we can focus on developing  ...

Sen

Tyagi

Umran

Prasidh

Mohsin

...  in the next few months. Not judge them in the meantime and just focus on getting them ready for Team India via A Team games, Low profile bilaterals and Domestic matches ... then we will have a very potent pace attack in the near future.

Pitch must have some grass.

Even now I will use umran if pitch is quick and grassy, but not on damp slow pitches or flat tracks.

Match is at Chepauk Chennai.... Either flat one or a slow low is one u get.  Most likely a flat pitch.

Matt Fisher is also a genuine quick pacer from NZ.   Ben Sears should have also come for ODIs at least.

Flat is fine. I think ummie can do well in flat. Agreed with slow pitches. Slow ones his pacey deliveries will sit up nicely like lollipops.
