Arjun tendulkar --3 wkts and 43 no.

Ramkrishn gosh --2 wkts in 1st innings and 31 runs in 1st innings

Bhawa -nothing of note be it bowling or batting

Arshin - 0 wkts but a 50 something runs in 1st innings

Ramandeep - nothing much with bat and just 1 wkt so far in 1st innings

Arshin and Ramandeep are pseudo allrounders.
They're batters, can bowl like Dube but that's it.

How's Ramakrishn Ghosh, haven't seen him so not know much.

Ghosh plays for maha, he can be handy with bat (can be consider hitter at domestic level)and primarily a bowler. There are yt videos. He is 28 but has t20 potential if he bowls at Arashdeep's pace 

Not sure of speeds bt puts effort, CSK picked him for this season though he didnt play.

 

Was playing up the order in their domestic t20 league. Plays for ruturaj's  team.

 

Yes raman is bits and pieces. But Arshin  open with bat and sometimes opens with ball too

Played in Srinagar so there won't be any highlights package.

I reckon only 2-3 games are being televised in Major centres

Nabi took 10 wickets in the match. This JK team is like the Pakistan team of 90's. This is what a good fast bowling unit does. But the management and selection can keep cursing fast bowlers as much as they want, and bring the team down.

It's a catch 22 situation.
Teams who perform best have mediocre trundlers but a solid batting and spin bowling unit.
Teams like JnK, JHK, Kerala, Raj, Punjab who have strong fast bowling, their batting unit is fragile and can't hold the fort when needed.
Our selectors only watch IPL and the semis finals or domestic tournaments, most of the strong bowling based teams don't even reach there. Teams like TN, Mumbai, Saurasthra etc which are dominated by spinners and batters do well historically.

Bhai, if a nobody like me, and someone with cricket knowledge like you can watch these matches, and know about the quality of fast bowlers of unknown teams, then what is stopping the management and the selectors to find these unknown talents? For which they are being paid in lacs and crores?

Saw some yt highlights of SA-A vs Ind-A.

 

Based on highlights::

The pitch has some green spots/patches and strong wind was blowing across. Ind fast bowlers were getting hit for 4s it while bowling full though kamboj got the wkt on a fuller swinging way ball. But it was boundaries on the rest of the ball. Gurnoor bowled a good bouncer that got him wkt. Ball seems to have bounced more batter was shaping to play some different shot but ended-up poking the ball.

 

Spinner pulled back things and gt the wkts.

 

Khaleel bowled fulltoss, bowled some chest high bouncers with no real pace behind it .

I honestly don't understand the rationale behind Khaleel, sure, we have dearth of good left arm fast bowlers. But Khaleel isn't a solution by any means.
He don't have pace, don't have stamina, a piss poor fielder, abysmal with bad...just has height and that's it. Atleast Avesh grunts while bowling, which means he is trying to generate pace but it doesn't comes out, this Khaleel just runs with no motivation.

Gurnoor is quicker, can bowl long spells, and is a better batsman...yet he is being treated as one change bowler. What's this obsession with trundlers getting new ball while faster ones have to bowl with one change. Just becoz trundlers are useless when the bowl loses shine, it doesn't mean we should crucify fast bowlers for the sake of it.

Our pace bowling stocks are dipping low, and it will continue to dip unless we don't play the right bowlers. 2nd test anyway Prasidh, Akashdeep and Siraj will return...where will Gurnoor go from here ? Back to FC where he will have to bowl against substandard batters on substandard pitches.

does Harshit Rana pick wickets with swing? If he only relies on occasional good length bounce and slower balls it will be hard

Most top pacers pick much more wickets with seam movement than they do with swing. (  Exceptions being Anderson, Akram etc. )
