I sometimes get the feeling our bowlers enjoy bowling in India more than abroad.

Our pacers depend more on attacking the stumps at pace. Which works better on low bounce pitches of Asia.

While Cummins, Rabada, Hazelwood etc. like to take wickets with channel balls that bounce a bit extra and induce catches behind the wicket. Which works better in SENA.

Booms loves England and West Indies too. He excels with dukes ball.

He is also good on bouncy wickets of Australia where there is springy bounce. World class. Only place he has little trouble is kiwiland. There ball doesn't bounce as much but you need more swing ability.

S Africa has both but he should just hit back of length. He still averages 21 or something SA. Gun bowler. Complete bowler. Best bower of this era.

Our pacers have the skills and pace to succeed everywhere in the world ... and they have been proving it in the last 3.5 years.

But some of us feel that they enjoy reverse swinging conditions the most.

Well I hope all cameras focus on them vs us. They will definitely try to cheat vs us.

don't be surprised if warner will "lead" them in this regard. I find it decidedly that Aus got such high reverse swing in 1st innings and not in 2nd innings, and neither did Pak in 1st inning

Yea I am ve3y suspicious about this. But I feel pak won't look into it because they are quite happy and elated that a team even decided to tour them at this stage. It's a shame because I feel Aussies definitely cheated here. How the phyck can you reverse the ball when it isn't even 20 odd overs old. That too it's the same culprits again. Starc, Cummins lol.

Cummins may look like some santicnomious lord but he is just as filthy as those old Aussies. He is getting away with some cheating because he has the good boy looks. People are stupid. They stereotype white boys as the goody two shoes lol if he has those boyish looks.

Well Pakistan's loss anyway.

Fiery spell from Shami just before tea.

Bowled dome hostile short balls and the last of them them was a snorter which hit Dickwella on the chest. He had no time to move.

He finished with a 144.7 kph inswing yorker which was very accurate too.

Hats off to Shammi...he came up with a fiery spell at this age...( I think he is 35)

Bhuvi

Harshal

Arshdeep

Umran

Avesh

In the T20I squad

Thinking about our Playing 11 in the upcoming T20 Wirld Cup in Australia

Umran won't actually play as the TM is very conservative.

If Bumrah has a niggle, we may see

Bhuvi

Harshal

Arshdeep

as the 3 specialist "pacers" :phehe:  in the playing 11 in Australia. Trundlers galore..

What kind of thought process is this  !!!!

Harshal won't bowl with new ball & will bowl in middle overs & death & eventually take over the spot from Umran... As he was supposed to be middle overs enforcer & probably start off the death overs proceedings by ending his spell by 16-17th over.   Harshal is probably more one dimensional than even Boovi  who at least bowls the new ball.

I will be happy Umran getting some 5-10 T20 bilaterals & try to get into the ODI lineup.  He could be monster in the middle overs for us.

Likes of Harshal Boobies Chahars will never provide him any sort of run in T20 format anyways.

I agree but that's the medium term view ...  in the near term, our pace attack for T20 WC in Australia is looking abysmal.

So, for T20Is, we are preparing only death over bowlers and middle over bowlers.

Bhuvi

Harshal

Arshdeep

Bumrah ( when he comes back )

All 4 are good at stopping runs at the death and hardly pick wickets with the new ball.

Chahal, Kuldeep, Umran, Bishnoi good in the middle overs.

Who will pick wickets with the new ball  ?  This is the biggest way to win big T20Is.

Rattu tota selectors, repeat same lines

2016,2021,2022 same story same climax

Boobie getting a free ride and with every ride his stature/stocks(in the eye's of selector Shiromani Chetan Trundler Premi Sharma) only rises

I think Bumrah & Bhuvi will share the new ball as it looks. Again, if we would get a left armer who can bring the ball into the right handers that will be a killer wicket taking option.
I haven't seen Khaleel, Arshdeep and Mohsin doing that (welcome to be corrected), Mukesh, Natarajan and Yash have shown that ability.

One thing is, since Bhuvi & Harshal will more likely be a part of XI, that would allow Bumrah to get some overs upfront. Which may not be the bad the thing as he has the best chance of picking wickets amongst the names you mentioned.
