A pace trio of old Shami, Umesh and Shardul will be so low in terms of bounce that even an Unadkunt adds value : ) Suhaan, Vijy and Mosher 3

Sen should have been in but even he got injured when he got his ODI cap. Rana should be brought in and Unadkat thrown out. He was looking very innocuous yesterday. My order is .... Average 32, SR close to 60, not strike bowler material statistically. I hear he bowls with intensity, many jaffas, etc. but what about the art of setting up batsmen and taking wickets? Or is he bowling a bit too short like younger version of Ishant? express bowling and Vijy 2

Something is missing especially in Siraj's case, sure he is operating under a brainless captain-coach duo and the current bowling coach is a chomu unlike the great Bharat Arun....but what tools can he add to take it to the next level? Or is he bowling a bit too short like younger version of Ishant? My impression is that, the Indian pace attack transforms itself when Bumrah is there. He is the enforcer cum wickets taker. Since Siraj's debut, Bumrah has played only a few test with him. IN SA 2022, when Bumrah was bowling well, Siraj injured himself. After mid 2022, Bumrah is missing. Shami has become old.and lost fire. So has Umesh. No new fiery pacers have been given chances in tests. Siraj is lacking support. He is no Bumrah, who can force batters to give up wickets even if there is less support from the other end. He is support pacer material who can do well only if a lead pacer is leading the way. We need to bring in someone like Harshit Rana for that purpose. Siraj can be a good support pacer if an enforcer cum wicket taker is there. Siraj is talented, but it's won't to fair for us to expect Bumrah like intelligence from him. He also need to calm himself down at the tough situations, he often looses control at the heat of the moment. That's where likes of Shami and Bumrah excel as they relentlessly keep on attacking with the same line and length without loosing their composure. Gollum and Vijy 2
