I find Godara(hopefully )solving our immense problems featuring in RPL,this is what I was talking about they have noticed this vacancy of fast bowling ARs(can tonk huge)

Haven't seen all games bhai. Lack of speed guns is a big turn off for me, plus no Tyagi or Mohsin so far else must have watched Meerut and GKP games.

 

Doyla and Godara looked good tbh...Doyla maybe in late 130's but hitting yorkers with accuracy. Not sure about his batting but is a solid built guy like Umesh.

 

Same with Godara, looks good so far.

 

Rkt bhai liked Kunal but I'm not yet impressed, have to see more games to see how well he can perform.

Does it offer mineral or oil deposits?  Or cutting edge tech...  No? 

It is a coastal region with a favorable connectivity with Ports & subsequent trade boom with ME.   Not denying it has contributed a lot.  But state itself is poor & lags behind on many indicators. 

Maharashtra contributes to Indian GDP the most...  It basically has everything from Ports to mineral deposits & a booming estate.  It gets the lowest in return.  They have every right to brag but they don't.

Gujarat has all the minerals from limestone, bauxite, gypsum, calcite, zinc, copper, it has its only mineral corporation trading company worth currently 26billion, gujarat has oilfields in khambhat, ankleshwar and kosamba, second highest producer of petroleum after Rajasthan, you must be kidding if you think the state is poor, gdp per capita way ahead of the national average even while having kutch a semi arid region, maharastra's economic activity is centred around western maharastra only, marsthwada and vidharb both massively backward, gujarat has way more to offer.

Godara is in 137-144 range...he was getting a bit of reverse in the last over.

 

IMO Ashok Sharma seems a better prospect, he looks to be in 140-147 territory...action is much smooth and fluid.

..Maninder Singh in commentary was trolling him stating, the faster you bowl the faster it goes to boundary. He should try to bowl slower ones and cutters instead of trying to bowling fast.

 

The same commentators, when will talk to these young players, they will advice the same. No wonder, our quicks decide to trundle listening to their seniors.

Ashok Sharma looked quickest..and hurrying the lower order batsmen with nice pace..

 

I feel Godara is going for control more and still bowling fairly decent pace..tough to play him with his yorkers height and control..he also came at 5th down to bat..

 

Rohit Suthar is left armer and with decent pace..and control..and nice height..noticed slight inward movement at the start but I feel he didnt try to bowl little fuller for inswing..as he saw batsmen trie dto hit his full bowls..

though with Godara,,he has good height and coming at 5th down to bat..atleast at thsi level..

he is going for more control..so could definitely bowl with more pace..

with Ashok Sharma I could see he has potential to get good movement..at such high pace..

what do you think about left armer Rohit Suthar from opposite team..he looked good as well

Ind commentators and Ex-players are oblivious of how much cricket has changed. Bowlers needs something different now some x-factor, some mystery.

 

No regular run of the mill Right/left arm medium/spin can take down a batting unit (baring Ind), these days batters are playing shots to get 6/4. single are lastthing in their mind. Once the bowl stops swinging they are planting their front foot and bashing the ball.

 

Wkts are only coming if there is power failure or the bowler has something different.

 

These domestic genuine quicks have to learn how to harness their x-factor, domestic is where they learn. No need to cut on pace
