I could hv expected Afg bowlers getting other team out while chasing like they did against England but didnt expect they will win so easily while chasing... Poor fielding also contributed to bring Pak bowlers down too. tweaker 1
MediumPacer Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 rauf isnt quick enough to beat batsmen with new ball in these conditions , he is better with the soft ball when it doesnt come on to the bat,fault of team management to not use him accordingly.

It implies that his bouncing ability improved from 2017 onwards .. but it was still far less than bouncy pacers. Mosher and Suhaan 2
tapandrun Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Any particular reasons u guys think Express bowlers (nt sure there are many other than Wood, Rauf, Ferguson etc) are not having a good WC. IMO express bowlers in tournaments like WC ensured that the team is not going down to a minnow or to a sub-continent team.

As Shastri said they have good but not great bowlers They haven't produced a world class one since Amir and Asif and even they didn't hit the heights that Akram etc did due to one reason or another. If Pakistanis instead had the bowlers we had over the last 15 years it's not hard to imagine the chest beating they would have done considering what they do with the rubbish they have, let alone what we have now. And this is considering that we ourselves don't big them up all that much. Vk1 and express bowling 2
