Good stuff. If he is able to average under 30. Like 27 to 30 for an express bowler then it would be great. Cause selectors blindly look at stats unfortunately. Certain players may or may not be more effective in specific conditions. I definitely don't think even umran would be as bad as praisdh in SA last time. Not 75 average lol Under 40 surely. Then his bowling plus new found batting ability could be handy in sena as a number 8 or 9. Right now it's 43. He really needs a sub 30 average this season with improve batting. Wanting batting option at 9, at the cost of a more versatile bowling attack, showcases defensive mindset. I would say this even if Axar ends up.taking a 5 fer ... as wrist spin is likely to be more potent if the pitch offers less help than expected ... and one has to plan for all circumstances. Is he injured ? He's always hot n cold. And when it comes to bowling speeds it’s mostly cold lol. I’d be surprised if he manages to bowl even 5-10% of his deliveries above 140.
