But just like Umran's mind is now cluttered and he is operating in early to mid 140's...Mayank too is going same route. Didn't expect that with Morkel...who himself was a 140-150 bowler in his prime and understands the importance of pace. Despite the issues Umran had, I’ve rarely seen him not cross 150 in a spell of 4 overs ever.

express bowling Posted October 12, 2024 Author Posted October 12, 2024 (edited) If Mayank runs in with intent like earlier, he is likely to bowl 143 k to 153 k atleast. Edited October 12, 2024 by express bowling Mosher 1

That can only happen if they have messed things up technically. The slow balls n all r fine, but even if he was looking to take it easy, I’m sure there would have been at least a few really quick balls.

Most of his time apart was just conditioning. If he’s gonna take so much time to get back to ‘full pace’ then that is even another issue then.

MK55 Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 Look at Mark Wood. The guy literally come back after a break and bowls quicker every single time. That’s the attitude u must have Mosher and RAZPOR 2
MK55 Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 lol when are we playing England and Australia? I think once he’s hit for a few, him and the people advising Mayank will get some brains back. Also it’s paramount that there’s competition. How da f is Harshit in the squad for so long but hasn’t got a game yet?? Umran needs to be driven to come back.

Third series and boy is just not able to get a game. He would have provided an extra buffer with the bat and is genuinely skill ful with the ball at 140ish pace. Viral infection..he didnt even travek to Hyd with team as per cricinfo..

Need4Speed Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 Big disappointments: - Mayank not express bowler so far.. -Abhishek misses oppprtunities -Harshit couldnt get any matches I was excited this series for these 3 only and an disappointed..these 3 could have made us very powerful against top sides too.. other benefits are just maximizing our range against weaker sides..0 Mosher and MK55 2

MK55 Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 Anyways hopefully in the next 2 overs, he at least gets back to the speeds he touched in the first match.

If this reduction in pace is due to modified action then it will come back. Brett Lee and Shoaib had several action modification in their career, they always found their pace back. Need4Speed 1
express bowling Posted October 12, 2024 Author Posted October 12, 2024 Want to see some yorkers and fuller balls from Mayank where high speeds are clocked. Mosher 1
