Chuskis played Simarjeet in later half of the season when their season was on the brink of exit.

Had he played around even 10 games last season he would have already made his debut such was his impact in limited games he got to play.

We desperately need someone like him who can bowl outswing at pace upfront like him.

GG and Rohit are taking all correct decisions but they dont seem to be LUCKY..

ony trundlers are fit. all genuine fast bowlers seem to be unfit. the one he found fit he has picked. Harshit has not debut but he is picked for australia. 

ramandeep singh - kkr batsman and a bit of a pacer is selected- GG has taken right selection

harshit, Prasidh are right decisions and making mukesh , saini , khaleel in travelling players.

i hope shammi comes in the third test.

Why is Simarjeet not playing Ranji after just 1 match ?

One worrying aspect is his FC average of 31 and List A average of 38+.

Must be down to conditions or we know Delhi has plenty of pace bowling options & never really had much of a run or injury.

Right now he Has to be injured otherwise How come money Grewal played over him?

One worrying aspect is that Harshit has been expensive in both innings, despite picking 5 + 2 = 7 wickets. 

 

ER of 4+ and 5+ in the 2 innings.

 

Needs to play more FC to cut down on the boundary balls.

vyashak is popular economical Medium pacer who bowls between 130  to 144k and he has some skills too. Not a bad choice for a t20.

Avesh has capability but he is like MUNAF who screams out loud when he bowls 134k , when he does not scream he bowls less than 133k.

he has just one skill a BOuncer which becomes unplayabale - kinda a jaff which is shown as 133 ot 137k but it looks like a 144k JAFFA Bouncer....

Vyashak is not bad T20 option as you do need variations.  I don't agree with him being 140+ let alone 144k.

He will bowl mid 135k-137k at best.

 

Avesh is even worse option.  No skill whatsoever. Can't even land Yorker & can go as low as mid 120's.

Vyshak rarely crossed 137 k in the IPL or the Duleep Trophy.

 

Looked very medium paced to me.

That's a worry Indeed even Money Grewal who is erratic at times bowled cheaply.

But he hasn't played consistently.  Ideally needs 2-3 FC games before India test.

Should have been part of A tour of Australia.

GG is stupid to pick him in squad and lot net him tour with A side.

What's the point of net bowlers and Yash Dayal to play there who is anyways not going to Australia?

I think they wanted Harshit, Mayank and Prasidh to interact with Morkel and be assessed by him before getting picked. 

 

But Harshit must play atleast one A-team FC game and one more Ranji match before BGT..

in international t20 matches , i saw him bowl 143, 144, 142 and between 130 to 138 k mostly..he has some skills - maintains good line n length, bowls on 4th stump quite often and suffocates the batsman by giving  less runs- he is well known among domestic coaches as a pacer whose economy in matches is very good( gives less runs in an over

I am genuinely excited for this game now.

Increases the possibility of a possible slot in Perth test.  God that would be mouth watering.  He is tailor made for that track.

 

Mumbai is not a bad place to debut for a fast bowler.

We badly need a couple of skilful 140 k+ bounce bowlers. Our pace bowling looks so ineffective when the ball is not moving. [ Bumrah of 2017 to 2022 did not need movement. ]

 

Harshit is hopefully one of them. 

 

We need another one and maybe it will be Mayank.
