Speeds and Performances of Pacers and Spinners

Prasidh has got a loser mindset. He’s getting brutally slaughtered by the batters. The captain has entrusted him to be an enforcer. And this idiot is bowling 135k short balls with an egg on his face

This loser is not for test cricket. Those 147k ipl spells r f useless. He should have bowled at least a few of such high intensity balls. I’ll throw him out the next game and for good.

Akashdeep looking stiff from yesterday's 7 over spell and bowling innocuously in the mid 130s.

I’ve seen this multiple times with him. This guy if he bowls quick is usually does that just on the first day and that too mostly when he’s making some sort of a comeback. I’m not really a fan of such bowlers.

Agree, they try to make a point and then just settle for too little

They lack hunger and want to be part of the popular group, they lack personality

Lots of them these days,Siraj ,Prasidh,Mayank all of them belong to same category

Arshdeep Singh, despite being brisk medium pace, has the 2nd best bumper among the pacers chosen in this squad.  [ Bumrah has the best bumper .... quick, accurate and nasty but he can't use it continuously due to his back issues ]

Prasidh's bumpers are a joke 75% of the time. Slow, low bounce, inaccurate and sit up to be smashed.

Fly in Harshit if you want an enforcer. Even he is not a finished product and may spray ... but atkeast he has will to succeed for India.

Otherwise use Arshdeep Singh to bowl bumpers next test onwards.. He will be accurate and get them high enough at good enough pace.

Playing 29-30 year old rookie incomplete pacers is a useless exercise. By the time, they learn and improve, they will be in mid 30s. Not picking Harshit is the dumbest selection. He is the only young and real test prospect we have currently at the right age.

Can't fathom Harshit not getting picked in a group of 6 pacers.

Agarkar / GG are probably not clear thinkers of the game.

Have you seen Kamboj bowl ?  I haven't watched him bowl much in FC. But every one seems to be gaga over him.

Does he hit the bat hard ?

Among young pacers, who has the best bumper in Ranji Trophy ?

Need to groom him as pitches are likely to be flat in many countries going forward.

Agarkar was talking all sense outside his job once inside,he has lost all his acumen

Gambhir is shortcut master, which suits T20 atbest

He's not even good for our odi side

He has good control but he is more of a seam bowler than a hit the deck bowler.  Doesn't have much pace too. So not a convincing test prospect.

Fast bowlers need to be picked young from 22-25 age bracket because we dont get readymade pacers. They learn the trade as they play internationals. Picking 29-30 year olds who still don't know how to operate in test cricket is a colossal waste of time.  And they should consistently be able to bowl at least 135-140kph range with control.

Currently only Harshit Rana is the one bowler who can be groomed who is fit and has played any FC cricket in recent times. We have serious dearth of potential test class fast bowlers in domestic cricket. Himanshu Chauhan is another one who has some potential and is young. Can get better. Kartik hasn't played any FC cricket in years. Mayank stays injured.  Hangargekar hasn't impressed much in Ranji. Not many young fast bowlers impressed last season.

Its absloute clear now.

Bumrah, Siraj & Akashdeep is the preferred trio now.

-->Shami is an old man but never count him off, can make a a come back and play his final 3-5 tests and get done with.

-->Rana & Kamboj can be backup now since both can bat a bit as well.

-->Arshdeep- Not sure about him. Better to preserve him for white ball unless there is a green mamba.

-->End of the road for Prasidh ( not good enough) & Mukesh ( Kamboj is better package overall)

We are currently worst placed among test playing nations in terms of upcoming pace prospects and the current ones are equally pathetic

No one wants to bowl all day long with intensity or atleast 20 overs a day,all they want is bowl 4 overs

Mavi and Tyagis downfall has seriously impaired Indias future pace bowling

Where are our fast bowlers? Where are India’s express trains?

Where is Rana, Deshpande, Malik, Shami, Sen, and Simarjeet Singh?

Maybe Thakur, Yudhvir Singh, and Vyshak?

Kamboj isn’t fast but he is hella accurate. Try him as a L&L bowler?
