This is where the role of bowling coach is underrated, you can't teach the bowlers how to bowl at this stage, but you can certainly work on fine tuning and consistency.

I thought he could be a dependable workhorse but he is in that fragile group of bowlers you cannot really bank on for long

I’ve always noticed that with this guy. Once a match or may be a few overs he will bowl with intensity and create chances. 
And when it really matters, he drops down and when that happens loses all zip off the surface. Barely gets any bounce plus no pace.

It’s a tactic coz this guy is bowling rubbish.

Days like these make me wonder what am I even supporting this BS. The fact of the matter is that the bowling has gone to the dogs. And it’s not just tactics but it’s just sheer quality of the personnel. 
We are not anywhere close to the top 3 teams in tests.
