Australia as always are pro of creating buzz around their upcoming pacers

This is how you do PR,quite cinematic polar opposite to ours

We are dihati, marketing pacers is beyond our reach

There pacers experienced or rookie know they are precious and are well respected by ex cricketers media etc

And look what we do

Beardman he played BBL this season, just touched 142 kmph on effort balls. Mostly remained under 140 kmph , near 138-139.

May have added some pac now, Aus new pacers adds pace in quick time as their actions are correct and those things already ironed out and it just the matter of gaining strength and bowling fast is always encouraged in Aus

They always hype up pace of their young fast bowlers even if they bowl 135- early 140's like they are the next Brett Lee. Meanwhile our "great" commentators have their lines ready to drop, when our young fast bowlers start bowling- "Faster they come, faster they go to the boundary" "Concentrate on line and length. Pace not important" "Pitch the ball up and swing. Why bowl bouncers?" and other same old ****.

They value pace at 135+ and bounce even if they loose line regularly

Had Mitch Johnson been Indian he would have been no better reputed than an Umesh Yadav ,we don't value our own

Best we do is pamper our limited chikna batsmen, unnecessary PR which backfires mostly

For a change appreciate/back  your pacers as well

6.9 ..

Saw a recent highlight of ranji game, think he can make improvements to his action, however gornoor looks okay

I will tell you why. Side on and semi side on bowlers have more time so they can take their nonbowling arm a bit higher. Not the same with pure front on bowlers. They move very quickly from back foot to front foot.

Why are we playing with just 2 pacers in Australia ??

Why do we have just 3 pacers in a squad picked for a T20I series in Australia ??

that too early in the Oz season

Useless tactic. The thing is two of the spinners are now alrounders, injury to pandya has created the problem. Otherwise pandya would have played as the third pacer in place of Sundar or axar.  Need a pace bowling alrounder or Chakraborty will have to be dropped for a third pacer. They are playing only three specialist bowlers which is fine in T20s.

Was looking at the promo of this T20I series. Even military medium Stoinis is shown as bowling a nasty bumper and hitting our batter and then our batters are scoring runs after that. The broadcasters and commentators want just this theme for Indian cricket. Our batters triumping over hostile foreign pacers.

I remember the day Mayank Yadav was bowling his first over in the IPL. Murali Kartik was commentating.  Mayank starting clocking 153 k, 154 k but Murali was discussing about the bowling trajectory of a spinner who had bowled earlier. And then Hayden pointed out these unusually high speeds.

Hardik Pandya was clocking 144 k, 145 k in a match a couple of years back. Waqar said that Hardik is bowling fast. Bowling 145 k, 150 k. Manjrekar said, yes, he is bowling 135 k+.

Hazlewood was bowling well in the last T20I. Abhinav Mukund said that this shows that you do not need high speed to bowl well. Aussie commentator, probably Aaron Finch, said that Hazlewood maybe clocking 134 k, 135 k but he feels much quicker as he hits the bat high and hard. Bowls a heavy ball. Has a high release point. This factor is totally ignored by most Indian analysts.

Most Indian commentators just ignore the need to hit the deck hard and generating bounce and seam movement. They just talk about pitching the ball up and swinging it ( even if there is no swing on offer ).

Bumrah averages 19.8 in Tests, 18.0 in T20Is and 23.6 in ODIs ... gets so many ads which shows his popularity among the masses ... but  so few promos are run on him by the broadcasters. And they will rarely mention his high speeds.

The Indian cricket fraternity and broadcasters are probably afraid that if our pacers are projected as fiery and super good then they will take away the limelight from our superstar batters ( past, present and future ones too ).

For this series ....

6. Axar

7. Washington

8. Harshit

9. Arshdeep

10. Bumrah

11. Varun C

But Dubey is playing ahead of the extra pacer as third seamer.

Young gen today likes pace as well ,they shyte on the likes of statpadders like Kohli kela and gill in few years

Popularity of selfless approach from Arya,Abhi, Suryavanshi ,Prabha is already rising

These cringe worshippers broadcasters will have to change their agenda

Washington is a better hitter than Dube on current form and Harshit a better pacer than Dube.

Washy likes Aussie tracks it seems..who could forget that Gabba chase..and now this last innings..

We need to groom Harshit at any cost..often times he gets edges, mishits for fours..our coaching and tech staff has to convert his potential into performances.

Washy has gift of timing, like Ashwin.
He can't muscle the bowl, but has the ability to predict the length and optimize it. He will struggle on sluggish pitches where you need bit more power.
Dube relies more on power, he isn't gifted with timing, hence pacy pitches will test his timing.

No point in Adding anymore names which cannot/ wont be picked for WC-26 which is just 4-5 months away.

in those sluggish pitches..he will then have to be creative with shots and placements\gaps..
