I got the impression that Ashok's ball release needs to improve a bit. 

 

His high release speeds are not always getting converted to hurrying ability at the barsman's end.

It's not like bcci cannot afford speed guns. We had them in previous editions of smat. Maybe we will get to see speed guns in the later stages of the tournament.

Other than earning money they are not innovative and modern in any regards. They are still like any other sarkari babus. BC they treat bowler as second class players and always look for a king and prince.

Not watching smt but how is Ashok Sharma overall?? Does he have potential. Hope he is not single pasli and more of Umesh Yadav like physique.

Ashok is a strong looking lad. And around 6'1" height.

 

He needs to improve his ball release and top of off stump ball. Depends a lot on bumpers and rising short balls.

Nagarkoti looked rusty. A bit slower too.

 

Ashok was distinctly quicker than him today and more bouncy too.

Nah. He doesn't have poor work ethics. He is really fit guy but his body is brittle for fast bowling.
