Ashok Sharma picked 4 wickets again vs Uttarakhand. Was bowling much fuller and looked very quick. Great lines too. He may touch 150 k in the IPL.

 

I revise my earlier opinion about him after seeing him in the Karnataka match. Maybe the pitch was too slow there and he tried too many short balls.

Rajan Kunar, 29 year old tall left arm quick from Uttarakhand, was very impressive vs Rajasthan with a 4 wicket haul. 

 

Looks lively paced, tall and has a good seam position. Good yorker too. Lower order hitter.  Where was he hiding all this time ?

He can use long handle as well.

Bhai, frankly I am not that impressed.

 

Yeah he got some wickets and bowled decent good bouncers...but we all know he had this ability since 2020. Whats key is if he is able to improve on top of it, which he hasnt due to frequent changes in his action (new action looks like Siraj).

 

Pace wise he seems 135-140 to me..not more than that. Which removes him from special category to a place where he has to fight with multiple other pacers.

yeah, against saurashtra he came to bat at 117/8 in 18.1 overs (Target was 145)
Both him and Nagarkoti smoked the Unadkut XI reaching 146 in 19.5 (29 runs in 10 deliveries)
Ashok Smashed 15 of 7 with 2 sixes...Nagarkoti scored 37 of 32 with 3 sixes.
Against Uttarakhand also he hit six on the first ball off Akash Madhwal.

So has power to hit sixes against pace (medium pace).

I was looking for the same thing bro.

 

All of Ashok's 4 wickets were off quick stump directed balls this time.

 

If he can combine quick stump directed balls with nasty bumpers, he will be a handful.

 

Want to see how his channel balls are.

Yes,
His last 2 wkts against UTK were good and full length deliveries.
Round the wkt to left hander, good length ball hit the top of off stump and sent it flying few yards back...sheer pace.
Next delivery to Madwal...fuller length delivery which hit the pads before bat came in the picture.

Now let me give the live news:-

When prasidh got hit in first over...KL was speaking to him, v could see him shouting on him for bowling slow n on leg stump.

 

Then when he did not fielded well in leg slip, KL scolded him.

 

He bowled some unplayable jaffa bouncers n he was told to bowl straight into wickets..that's how he got decock bowled and one more batsmen bowled.

He has a faltu slow ball n when he bowls 120 to 130k..suddenly he will bowl a jaffa.

Harshit..crowd was calling him Hero...

He bowled a bouncer which hit the batsmen on his helmet...had it hit slightly down batsmen would have retired. 

The boundaries were very short and so expected score was 370 but Prasidh and kuldeep screwed africa.

Few observations- 

They ask harshit to be an enforcer n Bowl at stumps and 5th stump..also scare them.

Sardar tries to give less runs..Harshit tries to get wickets and Prasidh and kuldeep too.

Tilak is not a bowler and he is no where close to Washington as a bowler but in fielding n batting he is too good. He dived and stopped a boundary.

Jaddu is one level better fielder than tilak n Virat...khatarnak .

I am very glad that we 've moved on from the likes of Avesh, Mukesh,Unadkat, Khaleel etc.

 

The current top six bowlers atleast looks like proper fast bowlers even though few of them are still work in progress.

Their decision to mint as much as possible by delayed starts have rendered specially our pacers to mere bowling machines,how will they develop if ball literally slipping out of hands
