He Cant drop Shami/Bhuv that leaves undropables and Jadeja/Binny/Dhawan. Rahane can go up Rohit can play at 6 instead of Dhawan, can bowl his dibbly - Wont happen since it too big a change and Rohit is suspect in swing. Ashwin can comein for Jadeja - Bats better bowls may be better, - unlikely since he sucked worse than Jadeja overseas. Binny - Real problem creator, saved a match with some gritty batting along with jadeja, if pitch is green he might bowl well. - Pankaj for Ishant is the only theoretical possibility that might make team stronger. - Ashwin for Jadeja less so - not sure if he would have batted like Jadeja to save the test. So no changes.

It's all going to be chopped up to give us a nice choco brown deck.

Simply having grass is not going to create the bounce everyone is hoping for. bounce happens because of hardness and grass, not because of moisture. Moisture makes the ball seam around.

IMO he got a klpd after having a look at the dead pitch, with everyone expecting the usual bowler-friendly wicket at Trent Bridge. If the pitch is indeed green at Lords, it might energize him to bowl better.
