What is worse is playing five back to back Tests without an extended mid-break and a customary first class practice match in between. Ps: I also have feeling Pujara desperately wants to play ODI cricket and not be seen as a Test match grinder, he wants to score runs quickly in Tests from ball 1.

He is getting out defending, not playing quickly.

His extremely poor tours of NZ and Eng brought down his overall away average. The guy has shown that he's capable of doing well overseas, he's just out of touch. The Realist 1

SO, obviously, he will have more clean bowleds. Dravid was similar too. I dont see it as a particular problem. doccricket and diehardpacer 2

Except when very out-of-form, Dravid doesnt miss the line of the ball totally like how ChePu or Tailunted Nohit does.

Teams would attack him stump to stumps. He always had issues with ball coming in. Batsmen who leaves balls outside off very well are always susceptible to LBW and bowled. Vijay too gets out LBW a lot. diehardpacer 1

But pujii just gets bowled comprehensively. Anyway, agree with what you said. Draivd had issues with deliveries coming in.

Pujara gets bowled at against spin because he plays for turn and then ball stays and also when ball seams in after pitching and he plays the original line.
