SLICKR392 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 It's a long series. Yes, we basically played with 3 seamers and won the Test but it's better not to stress them and have an extra seamer instead. Might have to bowl a lot in the 2nd innings. Some people just want to fit in their favourite players in the team no matter what.

Ashwin will provide good balance in the batting set up + we can afford an other front line seamer.

ROhit sharma is nothing but a "stylish vrersion" of Dhoni lol. He also does the same. Dangle the bat miles infront of body

Selectors cocked up picking Binny instead Rishi Dhawan, and now a bigger cockup having to play another failure after the finding Bonny doesn't belong.

Check below This team can be great I'm referring to the current wc t20 core group and the champions trophy group (minus ishant of course). Across formats: Dhawan, vijay, rahane, pujara, kohli, raina, rohit, dhoni, jadeja, ashwin, shami, kumar, aaron, umesh, mishra Add players like pandey, kulkarni, rayudu to rotate. Play Ashwin in Binny's place considering this pitch offers spin on the last 2 days. Besides I am not sure if as a batsman Rohit would perform way better than Ashwin. With 3.5 bowlers we already know what's gonna happen.

A draw will only let them regroup and prolly give them time to level or even win the series from hereon. Have to go for the win at the Rose Bowl!!! No way can England level the series after going 2-0 down!

Also I am not against having Aaron in the side....can be at expense of Binny/Shami
