MSD has to be the greatest cricketer India has ever produced. Indians tend to hype up so many of their players, but Dhoni is one of the few that deserves it. With out him India would have no WCs since 1983 and never would have reached the levels they did a while back. I cant see how the other indian players are not inspired by him. He is playing a lone hand like Mahela did in a Lords test in 08 when SL collapsed, and in the 4th innings the whole SL team was inspired and pulled off what I consider to be greatest rearguard effort in SL's history. Lets hope these ove-hyped indian players grow some balls and follow their leader.

Anyone seriously think we will avoid a whitewash is Australia ? :rofl: Dhoni should have ideally stood down after the debacle in NZL. But now its better Dhoni captain's in Aus so that the next captain ( Kohli or Rahane whoever it is) isn't ruined by a hammering and whitewash in Aus . Its better to give the captain without any baggage and give him captaincy in Indian summer 2015. Hopefully Dhoni has had enough and steps down after the WC. Becoz the chances of BCCI sacking him are remote . Will be too big a fall out to survive

It's going to be a draw or Indian series win in Australia. I can guarantee you that. Our batting sucked against swing. But I think we will be ready by then. I think Pujara will score rns in Australia and few more will chip in. This is where we lacked in the first 4 test matches in England.

Pujara is a compulsive puller . I fear he will be horribly exposed by Johnson.

He learns from mistake. Still probably the only batsman in our current line up about whom I can say that "he put price on his wicket." Just bad run and playing against a top quality bowling attack which has Anderson, probably one of the best. No one is perfect, and he isn't either, so he will go back and work hard on his game after the tour is over and I am sure he will be back strong. Not the end of the world. We have had worst performance in the past from different Indian players.

Forget Pakistan bro...but take out Dhoni's score in the last 2 test matches we will look worse than Zimbabwe.
Can we take out his perfomances over previous 3 years and insert someone elses as then we would have played with 11 men

You sound silly! I was always slaughtered for backing Indian team here but that's when had great players and team But not now, you just sound delusional
