All downhill since: Jadeja's super critical catch drop of Cook in 3rd Test

I know a Test series, especially a 5 match series, is sum of all parts, but Jadeja dropping Cook in that 3rd morning was a massive own goal by India and since then England have just grown in confidence every session. Before that catch: India were 1-0 up, Cook was under immense pressure, especially from English media, his captaincy and place in starting XI called into question, England hadn't won a Test for over 10 straight games. Also not to mention, the confidence it would have given to Pankaj who went wicketless thereafter in the entire innings. That dropped catch and Cook going onto score 95 was a massive and critical psychological blow to India. And sadly India have continued to drop catches....sigh. That's cricket, :haha: ravindra-jadeja-drops-cook-off-pankaj-singh-1406527369.jpg

we dropped catches before and after that.If we did well we could have recovered. The turning point for me was Dhoni going with 4 bowlers on Southampton and then using one of them defensively

Dropped catches and messed up middle order has killed us. Whats worst dropped catches is a story going on for some time now what the hell is that motu doing ?

3 straight tours. You cannot drop catches. That is criminal with our bowling.
they are dropping easy catches every match of good batsmen. If we had taken most of our catches, series could have been completely different. They have to make most of every chance created by bowlers. They are young bowlers and it does affect their morale.

Drop catches and lack of DRS ...... Imagine if we have taken our catches and if DRS would have been there, the performances of cook and Bell would have been as poor as pujara and Kohli. These two factors have hurt us the most

Same happened when England visited India.. some one dropped Cook and he went on to play a big innings and the series turned there as well

3rd team selection sent a wrong message. Bowlers were absolutely dog tired from the first two tests . They needed reinforcements. Even before the third test Rohit's possible inclusion was criticized by lot of us.

Same thing also happened when pakistan played in england around 2010. Cook was failing nonstop then we dropped his catch and he got his form back and murdered us :((

Really?? Blaming one dropped catch for poor performance from almost the entire team in the 3rd, 4th and now the 5th tests? The fact is that we have been extremely poor in ALL departments and THAT is what we have lost, not because of one dropped catch (though of course all the dropped catches taken together have counted towards the losses).
