Austin 3:!6 Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Innings defeat is obvious but can we somehow take the game till Monday? Another 3rd day loss will a massive dent in confidence going into ODI series. Now that we know this game is gone all ICF'ers must support our batsman to come good in the final innings :cheer:
Laaloo Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Nope. This game will be over an hour after tea unless it rains
vvvslaxman Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 It all depends on how long COok wants to prolong the misery. If they get 60 overs match will most likely be over by tomorrow itself.
amiret Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Hopefully we will be able to avoid another innings defeat . India has already suffered the highest number of Innings defeats AWAY in the last 5 years
Austin 3:!6 Posted August 16, 2014 Author Posted August 16, 2014 Hopefully we will be able to avoid another innings defeat . India has already suffered the highest number of Innings defeats AWAY in the last 5 years Lead is already 250+. No chance of avoiding innings defeat.
velu Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 only if england bat till the end of day 3 :giggle:
Deleted_User_1 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 I predict India will fold in one session.....
rkt.india Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Depends on how quickly England ends their innings.
jf1gp_1 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 This game is going to 5th Day Vijay, Pujara, Kohli are going to score 100s, Rahane, Dhoni will score 50+ Gambhir might get 10; quick 30s from binny, ashwin and we will set a score of 245 for England. they will be allout for 149.
Roshanrocks Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 No way. The Game will finish on 3rd day...This is bcci plan to cut English profits for 4th n 5th days.
Raghav_12 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 If it is left to Indian bowlers to wrap up England innings, match will definitely go in 4th day. But I think Cook will matter in his hands sometime after post lunch to ensure they can go home today itself.
dangerman1985 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 dhoni and co wants 2 days rest this time too so no chance
