Connor always did well in domestic. He should have been given a chance but way BCCI operates he did not. There was another opener around the same time who did not get a chance. As a matter of fact there were multiple openers who were screw by BCCI.

Although I dislike dhoni for recent failures as a captain once picks players in xi. He gives them enough chances to show their talent. Binny was only the exception. This where dhoni trumps ganguly.
