kosingh Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 https://twitter.com/henrymoeranBBC/status/508647370553589760 Umm. Maybe because they were trying to beat India?
goose Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 what's the big deal? it's straightforward sledging of the opposition.
kosingh Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 https://twitter.com/henrymoeranBBC/status/508647370553589760 Because we are secular!
YCCC Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Noticed one of the comments below the tweet. Are Indian based fans wondering wtf is going on? I'm sure the players do sometimes, as much as they appreciate the support, they must be confused by the Brit-Indians Brit football style songs (oh Ravi Jadeja, who are ya etc) as well as the booing?
King Tendulkar Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 A lot of pantomime booing to be honest. Mostly tongue in cheek
goose Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 some English press blogs making this out to be unprecedented racism in cricket grounds. what a load of horse!
The Realist Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 The British Indian fans were only giving stick to Chemical Ali for his dubious allegiance and loyalty to his religion above England. You’re playing for England, Moeen Ali, not your religion http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/religion/10897999/Youre-playing-for-England-Moeen-Ali-not-your-religion.html
Malcolm Merlyn Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Moeen...............Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
AmreekanDesi Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 http://www.espncricinfo.com/england-v-india-2014/content/story/778919.html This is all descending to a farce really. Why such an uproar. Not the first person and not the last person who is gonna be booed
Malcolm Merlyn Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Pakistanis booed Sajid Mahmood and called him a traitor and now they come here to preach.HYPOCRITES!!!
Texy Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Why no protest from Pakistanis when Bopara and Anderson got booed? It all comes down to one thing doesn't it.
