Once I went to my friend's home and in the conversation I said something about Mahabharatha, quoting an analogy in real life or something. There was a pastor there in civil dress, whom I did not know then. He caught me like a crab and ate my brain for 2 hours. First he began the conversation by saying that he doesnt like that "fellow" Krishna. He only liked Karna in the entire story. Then he told me that Krishna enters your home like a thief from the backyard and steals your curds, whereas Jesus enters your home like a gentleman from the front door and give you gifts for Christmas :D ---

Go with him to a starbucks or any other public place(it is very important that you do this away from your workplace, so that this guy won't be able to file any work related law suits)......make sure to read up on the story of Noah and his ark before hand..... When you're with him.......engage him into a discussion about the bible......let him yap for a couple of minutes and then tell him something like this........ "Ok....I took up your suggestion and did some research on the bible and......I came across the story of Noah's ark.......and there was this one thing that bothered me.......God ended up killing almost everyone in the world because he felt that they were sinning by going against his ideology and teachings....correct? So tell me this, how does that make God any different from other psychotic tyrants in history like Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao Zedong, Hitler etc who also committed mass genocide of people who they thought went against their ideology and teachings?" If he can give you a logical answer that doesn't involve non-sensical phrases and terms like "the bible says so", "it's part of God's plan", "it's cause he truly loves us" or "it's because God is God".......then maybe you should convert...... If he starts acting crazy......just quietly walk away......you are in a public place......what's the worst thing he can do? 2. Again......take him to a public place.....engage him for a while.....then when you feel that the time is right, man up and tell him something like this..... "Look Mr. X, it's great that you practice a religion and adhere to a set of beliefs based on the teachings of that religion.....but with all due respect, I have zero interest in following your religion......and I would also really appreciate it if you would stop trying to convert me to your faith.......cause frankly, I don't like it" If he gets it at the first go......then thank him for understanding.....and offer to pay the bill if you guys had something during your conversation........ If he doesn't understand your stance.......tell him that you will go to the HR dept and report him for harassment the next time he talks about his religion at your workplace........ The choice is yours sir......
