At 17, Malala is the youngest recipient of the prize. The teenager was shot in the head by Taliban gunmen in October 2012 for campaigning for girls' education. The Nobel committee said the pair were awarded the prize "for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people". Mr Satyarthi, 60, has maintained the tradition of Mahatma Gandhi and headed various forms of peaceful protests, "focusing on the grave exploitation of children for financial gain," the committee said. Ohh and India and Pakiland are hyphenated once again in the world's eyes. Congrats to the Indians for being bracketed with shitistanis.

I don't think he even got any meaningful government award.

I read somewhere that his organisation has saved more than 80000 kids. wow. That is great work :hatsoff: Even if Nobel Peace prize is a joke, but it will give this organization the much needed recognition Nobel peace prize is nothing but a joke. People like Obama has got them. Whaty has Malala done other than getting shot.
