wow,great news.he could have been the real thorn but he has a problem against short balls.who knows,pishant,aaron could have tormented him.now just hope harris struggles and doesnt last the full series (sad to say,i am his massive fan )

Clarke's back problem has been a major reason for his downfall against short pitch bowling. Even if harris is infit, guys like hazzlewood cummins will own indians on aussie pitches. No use hoping for injuries batsmen need to stand up and face bowlers.

This isn't a back injury but a hamstring injury which he picked up in the 1st ODI at Perth. Also, CricketAustralia has no update on tis website. On the contrary, here's what CA website reads Clarke on track for first Test: Marsh, National Selector reveals positive scan results
