G_B_ Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 i have to say at this level of BMI simply walking to places and cutting back on high calorie foods will be more than enough. You guys really dont need to take extreme steps to lose weight. At one point I reached 85kg. Now i am 68. I reached a weight of 75 from 85 by simply walking to places and jogging 3 times a week. In like 2 months. Just get on a treadmill and cut out stuff like chocolates and biscuits. The hard part came from 75 to 68 onwards. Then you had to push yourself. You guys will burn like 300-400 calories simply by walking for an hour.

I lost 10-15 kgs after high school by just playing cricket in the driveway and walking around the mohalla, i was still eating a lot. It depends on the age, losing 10 kgs when one is 20 is very different to when one is 35

Kalia_Test Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 ^^^^ Sorry...Din't watch the documentary as I am in India and Netflix, etc are not available ( I din't research much actually ) but does this program involve only dieting i.e different juices or does it involve any exercises ( even basic) ? Losing weight only by dieting is a bit odd and maybe even not recommended? :hmmm:

Losing weight only by dieting is a bit odd and maybe even not recommended? :hmmm: There are few things you can do: 1. Use it to detox for 5 days, almost like fasting 2. Use it for 10 days or so to detox and lose 5-10 kgs 3. Use it for 3+ weeks to lose a lot of weight Anytime you finish with the Juice only diet, its advisable to have at least one meal a day replaced by juice. Im thinking that over the long term, Im better off having this juice for dinner.

Have a BMI of 21.5 and give yourself a +/- 1 leeway. +1 during the festive season and -1 during the summer months. and thw part in bold. thats all you still need to do. 35 is not that old, i am guessing your metabolism is still pretty good. I understand life is busy but trust me the level from which you want to lose weight juicing is not the right way. From that point simply a bit of exercise is enough. The law of diminishing returns does not apply from the point you currently are. Easily can lose about 10-15 kg. Once you lose those then you have a decision to make.

Im not sure how this diet will work out but Im at a stage where I need to do something ASAP. I'm taking this with shorter targets, first its for a day.. then I will see where Im in a week and then after 10 days.

I think it is a good move,Desi don't give up.....it will only get better
EnterTheVoid Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 These fad diets are dangerous, unhealthy, usually useless and generally speaking, a waste of everybody's time. Exercise regularly and eat the right food in the right proportions at the right time. The body will take care of the rest.
rkt.india Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 You lose 80% weight by diet and 20% by exercises. Calorie deficit, dont need such drastic measures, keep exercising with a calorie deficit of 1000 cals
India-KXIP fan Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 This is easy why all this bs... Find out how much you need to eat daily to maintain your weight. The less active and older you are the lower that amount is... Then eat above that u gain, below that u lose, at that u stay same. Eat whatever the fark you want "good" or "bad" lol as long is it covers carbs, fat, protien. Sauce: Me, Im a genius :proud:
