Would have liked Shami too as he was the best bowler on show yesterday according to Jordan Silk, CAXI opener.[/quote'] Bhuvi who has been resting on his favourite Bed since the last 40 days and just bowled 12 over in the first practice was not asked to bowl even one over in the second ODI - specially when any number of bowlers could bowl.. i think ashwin and Bhuvi who were not bowled may not play the first test..or are not being considered for the first Test... please notice a captain always plays his players who need to play in the match in a practice match mostly... secondly australian ball Kookabora ball does not have genuinely good SEAM so it does not swing BIG....in australia - pacers with pace and bounce succeed... my bet is on JOhnson Harris AARON ISHANT and Umesh.. these guys are bound to suceed if they bowl fairly well.

For all those against MSD. I agree he is a crap captain and i started disliking him as a captain since he started picking Ishant, Vinay everytime during 2011-12-13. But MSD as a player is still way better then any other Indian wicketkeeper as an overall package and he has been better than all previous keepers even if we just consider overseas. Hence, i would like Kohli to win first test and then MSD is replaced as a test captain. I know im dreaming in India winning the test and MSD being replaced.

The ball will swing in Aussie conditions as well and he will get bounce because the pitches will offer more pace and bounce. He bowls an immaculate line and length and keeps testing the batsmen and he is also a very intelligent bowler. So you cant just write him off that he wont be effective in Australia.

As on today there is real tuf competition among pacers.. Ishan't Umesh Shammi All 3 are bowling well and are pacy...Varun is way above. Bhuvi becomes a under 129k bowler in second spell so becomes a defensive bowler at best. If ashwin is not played then bhuvi shud be played. One can't have ashwin bhuvi and even Ishan't all 3 playing. All these 3 are kinda defensive bowlers n may bowl defensive lines in Australia. Success mantra in Australia is aggression. .If the bowler is happy giv ing 1 run or 2 runs an over..batsman are happy to Run thru tuf times by scoring 2 runs an over too.

Sorry guys Bhuvi is my forth pacer at best Varun Ishan't Umesh ahead of him. He can edge out only shammi though I may not agree to that too. He was impressive in England only in first 2 tests. Other tests he was average..as good as pankaj. Varun was way better than him always. He was good in first 2 tests as he bowled 130 to 140k n then he Literally became a under 130k bowler. With so much swing in England had he been 130 to 140 he wud have got more wickets. He has swinging skills even better than Anderson but his bowling dipped after 2 tests even in swing friendly conditions. I don't expect him to repeat wat he did in firate 2 tests of England. He has to bcom faster which he is capable of.

^Aaron played only 2 Tests whereas Bhuvi played all 5.Batsmen got used to him and he got tired too.happens in a long series. still he picked 4 wickets in 3rd and 3 wickets in 4th Test. Aaron Ishant Bhuvi should play if they play 3 and Umesh over Shami as 4th

But the death of Australia batsman Phillip Hughes forced a rescheduling of the test series, with Adelaide now hosting the opener at the Adelaide Oval starting Tuesday and the Brisbane test set for a week later. Dhoni flew into Adelaide on Saturday and will train with his teammates on Sunday. Both teams are switching their focus back to the series after the death of Hughes, who died last Thursday two days after being struck by a ball while batting in a domestic match in Sydney. "We are professional cricketers, we have to move on," Indian paceman Ishant Sharma said Saturday. "What has happened is really bad and everyone was really shocked (we) need to look forward to what is coming next for us and that is what we will do." "Mentally, everyone is focused to do well. When you go out on the park, the only thing is about how to perform and give your best.
