Well Kohli needs to get the slippers correct not changing them often like dhoni does. you need your permanent in the team to be your slippers. Every time I see there is a new guy in the slip. We don't have fixed guys off course part of the problem is also dhawan being kicked out. He needs to think about field positions certainly he is not doing that now just following his predecessor .

A captain is supposed to set an example. Not get selected because he is the Vice President of India Cements. And for the record, yes, it is the captain's fault if his team doesn't do well. He is appointed to win matches, not give excuses like "we're focusing on the process"

I don't think so,3d test draw ,Aus were looking for a safe option after winning two tests..First test Clarke made a brave declaration,because they had to win it.therse is no other choice..Kohli the batsman shone very well..Otherwise i wouldn't call it as a great captaincy who was able to take 12 wickets..

May be in his first test...sorry i don't remember.See i don't want to putdown Kohli,but he is being credited so much for captaincy,whereas its his excllemt batsmanship which made a test out of it..He was only able to take 12 opposition wickets,thats didn't prove anything. But yes he got Virusqe attitude as a batsman...Its his form thats saving us...

That is the point. India despite leading the series went on the defensive in England..

How he keeps on playing trundlers, CSK boys. How if it was any other captain, this team has potential to be a world beater.Some people even went to an extent stating he is scared of keeping against genuine pace and thats why bowlers like Varun Marshal Aaron, Umesh Lilee Yadav never gets selected. We all dreamt how a new skipper would immidiately turn the fortune of Indian cricket. In comes Virat Kohli and he selected all the players that we were so desperate to see. A bowling combination of Aaron, Ishant, Shami was amazing pick which a lackluster skipper like MS would have never done. A young leggie on debut would not have even crossed that defensive skippers mind. Bravo Kohli. Day 2 - Australia 517/7 OR let me put it very blindly this test match will be over in 4 days with another series loss. Next please.... Yeah only one day through his first test match as full time captain and already its been proved beyond a shadow of a doubt......lol
adi B Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Dhoni was a horrible captain who led a poor bunch of bowlers that's all. Bowlers are poor no doubt but that doesn't absolve Dhoni from his horrendous captaincy away from home

In fact he's still around as captain of LOI teams... So it'll take some time for the team and especially the bowlers to recover...
zep1706 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Kohli may as well prove to be a terrible captain, I can't really comment on that at this point because it is too early and I am also not watching the game. But that does not change the fact that Dhoni was one of the worst test captains many people have ever seen in their lives.
