:icflove::icflove: This is not an over the top statement. I am not even being a blind fan. I have criticised this bunch (especially Dhoni's captaincy) so much on this very forum that for once I feel we are........ winning the 2nd test at Gabba. We came very close at Adelaide but couldn't finish it off. Lets face it, how many of us would have even dreamt of scoring 300 on 5th day Adelaide chasing 350??? Whatever position we are at today, lets be honest, all of us would have taken it wholeheartedly at the beginning of this series. :winky: We are basically 20 runs behind. Pujara is due for a big one. Kohli/ Rahane are in great form. Both of them won't fail together. Even my all time abused player Dhoni seemed to be playing well before that unlucky dismissal. We can easily score 350 (provided we dont get ourselves at 100/4 in the first session). The pitch has no demons as such. Ashwin and the tail can add atleast 40-50 runs. Now the best part. Look at the history of Gabba tests on 5th day for the last 15 years. IT IS TOUGH TO SCORE RUNS. ESPECIALLY 250+. Warner and Smith are due for s failure. Tail won't wag this time around (pitch will be difficult plus chgasing means a lot of pressure). If we can get Aus for 100/4 or so at the end of Lunch on Day 5 (as I am quite sure we will be bowled out tomorrow no matter what), we are winning this. :two_thumbs_up: :yay:

The game is still quite even with 9 wickets in hand and only 26 runs behind. It goes to show how good a position India were in before it all went wrong. Could have sealed the match today.

Set them 260- 270 target and the match is on. No doubt. But our tailenders' have to show some fight and score some runs.
